Through God's Word, there is hope! All of us from time to time experience many trials, suffering or get entangled in sin that we don't know how to deal with. God’s counsel is desperately needed!  God has provided everything necessary for individuals to know Him and to live in a way that is pleasing to Him. We believe at Grace Biblical Counseling that the Bible addresses every part of life.

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,  by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. (2 Peter 1:2-3)

About Us: Grace Biblical Counseling is a ministry of, and done under the authority of the elders of, Grace Baptist Church. All of our counselors are either pastors or trained and certified by ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). Because we are working towards becoming a training center, we have some counselors who are in the process of certification. These counselors are under the direct supervision of our counseling ministry.

How We Counsel: Grace Biblical Counseling offers marriage, individual, and family counseling. This counseling is based on the Bible. We believe God’s Word is sufficient to answer the problems of life, and is superior to any other source of counsel ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Our Counselors: Counselors are pastors and other qualified individuals trained in biblical counseling.

Cost: The counseling is free. Grace Baptist Church provides the facilities, and the counselors volunteer their time and services. The counselee will be asked to pay for all homework material, which is theirs to keep.

Counseling Hours:  Counseling is available on Monday evenings from 5-9pm. If Monday does not work for you, we can work with you on a better time and day.

The Process:  Normally counseling sessions last one hour each week for approximately 10-12 weeks. The number of sessions may be shortened or lengthened depending on your progress.

Confidentiality: Everything is strictly confidential except where, in the counselor’s judgment, there is a biblical requirement to involve others, for example, in the case of criminal activity.

Homework: Work must be done between counseling sessions to ensure lasting change. Therefore, weekly assignments must be faithfully completed in order to continue counseling.
