Trustworthy Sayings
During the month of August 2015, we undertook a short sermon series on the "Trustworthy Sayings" of Paul. These are the 5 "faithful words" found throughout his letters to the young pastors, Timothy and Titus. The Trustworthy Sayings are core truths about the Gospel, the Gospel Ministry, and Godliness that became almost proverbial in the early church. Paul quotes these bedrock truths in order to encourage these young ministers and the churches that they pastored.
Read, listen, and be changed by these Trustworthy Sayings, since, as it is written, they are "worthy of [our] full acceptance."
